SIFF Founder - Mr. Anthony C. Bruins I receives an Honorary Service Award at the Bridge of Light Tour.

We were thrilled to have our own Mr. Anthony C. Bruins I receive an Honorary Service Award at the Bridge of Light Tour - hosted by the Bridge of Light Global Internet Radio Network ( Facebook link ). This award was nominated by friends for his 30+ years of service at NASA Johnson Space Center along with mentoring hundreds of students throughout his career - teaching them how to become next generation innovators through Systemic Intelligent Fast Failure (SIFF).  Some of his early students now serve in upper levels of NASA, academia and industry. We had a wonderful time performing our SIFF Workshop for the  diverse youth of Youth Science Initiative, Boston Public Schools and Jack and Jill  through the Koinonia Collaborative . < Facebook > This successful event provided an amazing and challenging learning opportunity for 44 diverse youth primarily 9-12 years of age.  A special thanks to Koinonia Givens (President of Koinonia Collaborative) and Crystal Johnson (President of the Youth Science Initiative) on their efforts in making this fantastic event possible and for their passionate service to towards the youth in the Boston community.    Slide Show

ExoPlanet Technologies Delivered Successful SIFF Workshops for the Hispanics Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) STEM Conference at the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA)

HACU Youth Leadership Development Forum (YLDF) - October 7, 2016 ExoPlanet Technologies  delivered a series of STEM related workshops at a conference hosted by the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities (HACU) at the University of Texas at San Antonio.   Anthony C. Bruins I and Michael McCullar delivered creative, innovative workshops that challenged the students with real-world problems from the space industry. Through our  SIFF workshops , we engaged the students right and left brain, minds and senses all at the same time. The energy released from the students was explosively contagious once their thinking unlocked from traditional methods of memorization.   In our four workshops for the day, the students generated over sixty new ideas per class for various ways of developing Cubesats for the  Macho Mengi (M2) Observatory System .
